According to a report by OLED researchers from UBI Analysis, Samsung will be launching three foldable smartphones in 2021. Namely : Galaxy Z Flip 2, Galaxy Z Fold 3, and Galaxy Z Fold Lite.
The Galaxy Z Flip 2 will be featuring a 6.7-inch display and a 3-inch external screen. According to this report, the folding main screen is the same size as that of the original Galaxy Z Flip. The outer screen is larger than the 1.1-inch window on the first Flip.
The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is said to be featuring a 7-inch internal screen and a smaller 4-inch external display. Its also being said that the Galaxy Z Fold Lite will be the cheaper alternative to the Fold 3 with similar display dimensions.
The report also added that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will be offering S-Pen support and an in-display selfie camera. It might also have a LTPO screen tech for lower power consumption.
All the three foldable smartphones will rbe featuring ultra-thin glass.
Multiple recent reports have also pointed out that Samsung will not be making any more of the Galaxy Note line. So, is Samsung trying to replace the Galaxy Note line with these foldable smartphone ones?
