The Samsung Galaxy A03s has appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking site revealing some specifications including being powered by MediaTek’s Helio G35 chipset. The upcoming Galaxy A03s will be the first smartphone from the company to come with this processor.
The listing on the site is for a Samsung smartphone with model number SM-A037F. The listing suggests that the upcoming Samsung smartphone will be powered by MediaTek’s Helio G35 chipset which is denoted by MT6765V/WB. The Geekbench listing was first spotted by Nashville Chatter Class.
Samsung Galaxy A03s Geekbench Listing:
The listing shows that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A03s smartphone scored 163 points in the single-core tests and 847 points in the multi-core tests. The Geekbench listing further reveals that the smartphone comes equipped with a 2.30GHz octa-core processor paired with 4GB of RAM.
The processor has the codename ARM MT6765V/WB suggesting that the Galaxy A03s will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G35 SoC. It runs Android 11 out of the box. The phone might also have a layer of OneUI 3.0 on top of Android.
Earlier in May, the tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer (aka OnLeaks) shared some renders of the Samsung Galaxy A03s. It showed that it is quite similar to Galaxy A02s, other than a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a USB Type-C port.
The tipster shared some renders, according to which the upcoming Samsung smartphone will come with 2 changes, which the A02s didn’t had; namely- a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a USB Type-C port. The A02s had the Micro-USB port.
And earlier this week, the handset was also spotted at certification platforms like Bluetooth SIG and the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). The Bluetooth certification confirmed that the SM-A037F will be arriving in the market as the Galaxy A03s.
