Previously we were tipped that Redmi 9 Power is coming to India on 15th of December. But as it turns out Xiaomi announced that it will be launching the Redmi 9 Power smartphone in India on 17th of December.
Its been said that, this new Redmi 9 Power is nothing but a rebranded form of the Redmi Note 9 4G.
The tweet by the Redmi India reveals that the Redmi 9 Power launch in India will take place at 12pm on the 17th of December.

Redmi 9 Powerâs Specifications (Expected) :
Talking about Redmi 9 Powerâs expected specifications, the comapny is calling it a âpower packedâ model. Itâs display might be a 6.53-inch full-HD+ with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and will have a 3.5mm headphone jack as well.
The phone will have triple rear camera setup with flash. The main sensor will be a 48 megapixel, an 8 megapixel and a 2 megapixel sensor. The front camera will be 8 migapixel. The all new Redmi 9 Power is listed to run on Android 10.
The upcoming Redmi 9 Power will be available in two storage variants â 64GB and 128GB. It is also expected to have 4GB RAM as standard.
The new phone will be powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC.
The phone will also offer a dedicated microSDXC card support for further expansion.
Other than all these features, the phone will have Fingerprint Sensor (side-mounted) feature and a Li-Po 6000mAh battery with support for 18W charging.
The Redmi 9 Power might be available in 4 colour options which might be Gray, Green, Blue and Orange and will come with Hi-Res Audio.
