Xiaomi has set the launch of Mi 11 Lite in India on 22nd June at noon. Xiaomi is expected to host a virtual event for the launch. The 4G and 5G variants of Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite debuted globally in March 2021 alongside Mi 11 Ultra. But as of now, it is being said that they will launch only the 4G variant in the country.
The smartphone is being teased as the “slimmest and lightest” smartphone. It is 6.81mm slim and weighs just 157g.
Mi 11 Lite expected specifications:
The upcoming Mi 11 Lite comes with a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with HDR10 support, 800 nits of peak brightness, 90Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. It comes with 6GB and 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The smartphone also houses a side fingerprint sensor as well as support for face unlock.
The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G SoC paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The front panel comes with a hole-punch cutout, housing a single selfie camera, a side fingerprint sensor, and face unlock.
It comes with a triple rear camera setup including a 64-megapixel primary camera with f/1.79 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture, and a 5-megapixel telemacro camera with f/2.4 aperture. There is a 16-megapixel camera with f/2.45 aperture at the front. The main rear camera can shoot 4K videos at 30fps, and features like timed burst, AI SkyScaping, One-click AI cinema, time-lapse, and more.
For connectivity it has Wi-Fi, 4G, Bluetooth v5.1, NFC, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors onboard include proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, electronic compass, linear motor, and IR Blaster.
The phone runs on Android 11-based MIUI 12. It is packed with a 4,250mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging.
