So Government of India, yesterday issued a notice to ban 43 more Chinese apps in India. This list includes some of the most used Chinese Apps like AliExpress, SnackVideo, etc in order to counter the privacy security.
The Government mentioned that these apps were found ‘prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity, defence of India, security of state and public order’.
Well, our government in the past have banned 59 more Chinese Apps including some of the top most used apps like Tiktok,Helo,Xender,etc on 28 June, 2020 and more 118 Chinese Apps including some of the top most used apps like PUBG MOBILE Nordic Map: Livik and PUBG MOBILE LITE on 2nd September, 2020 under section 69A of the Information Technology Act.
